Kayleigh Davies grows and forages natural dyes in Yorkshire, which she then uses to create naturally dyed, sustainable silk art pieces, garments and decorations sold through local galleries. She hosts natural dye workshops for communities, schools and members of the public. She has her own natural dye garden and is one of the core artists involved in WOVEN in Kirklees Festival’s natural dye movement called Growing Colour Together. She is also a postgraduate researcher at the university of Huddersfield where she is researching WOVEN and the social impact of shared natural dye practice on communities.
